عن عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه عن النبي ﷺ قال :
اللهمَّ أنتَ ربِّي، وأنا عبدُك، وابنُ أَمَتِك، ناصيتي بيَدِك، ماضٍ فيَّ حُكمُك، عدْلٌ فيَّ قضاؤُك، أسأَلُك بكلِّ اسمٍ هو لك سَمَّيتَ به نفسَك، أو أنزَلتَه في كتابِك، أو علَّمتَه أحدًا من خلقِك، أو استأثَرتَ به في عِلمِ الغيبِ عندَك، أن تجعَلَ القُرآنَ ربيعَ قلبي، ونورَ صَدري، وجِلاءَ حُزني، وذَهابَ هَمِّي وغَمِّي .
أخرجه أحمد (٣٧١٢) وابن أبي شيبة (٢٩٩٣٠) والبزار (١٩٩٤) .
قـال شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية رحمـہ اللـہ تعالـﮯ :
الربيع هو المطر الذي ينبت ربيع الأرض فسأل أن يجعل القرآن ماء ونوراً لقلبه،، فيحيى به قلبه كما تحيى الأرض بوابل السماء وينور الله به قلبه،، والحياة والنور جماع الخير .
كما قال تعالى : { أَوَمَنْ كَانَ مَيْتًا فَأَحْيَيْنَاهُ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُ نُورًا يَمْشِي بِهِ فِي النَّاسِ } .
